The 2016 Miss LMS pageant is a fundraiser for Lexington Middle School’s Relay for Life campaign. Through this pageant we not only raise money but also awareness of how important it is to honor and remember those whose lives have been touched by cancer.

Whether Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow or not on February 2nd, Groundhog Day, many students will be “shadowing” workers in order to better understand the requirements of a particular job or career. This year our 6th grade students will have the opportunity to invite a parent or relative to eat lunch with them. After lunch the student and parent or relative will have a time to sit down and talk about the adult’s career. By participating in this activity, your child will have the opportunity to earn a 100 ELA formative grade.
If you would like more information and to get the form to participate, please click here.
