The week of February 19 will be ABCAB. We will have normal ATL period times. Not too much going on, so make sure you use this normal week to reflect on your interim grades and set goals to finish the quarter off strong.

-Students will do a technology survey during the first part of ATL. You will be emailed the link right before ATL. Students will not fLex until the class is done with the survey. The survey should take about 10 minutes max. Parents were made aware of this survey in the email sent last week.
Thursday, February 22
-On February 22nd at 6:30 we will have a community viewing of the movie Most Likely to Succeed in the LMS Theatre at 6:30. When the district met with staff, students, community members and others during our strategic planning community meetings, they showed a 12-minute-long clip of a film called “Most Likely To Succeed.” After viewing that clip about the history of the American education system and new approaches to learning, many people asked if they could see the entire film. Well, here’s your chance! We will have popcorn so bring the whole family! There will be a special treat on Friday for all students who come and bring a parent or guardian.
Important Items of information:
-RunHard spring registration is open at www.runhard.org. Practices will be at LMS on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:45-5pm beginning March 5th. This is a great way to make connections and work on your fitness goals! Contact Mrs. Near at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
–On March 7, the RBHS chorus teacher will come to LMS to audition students during 7th and 8th periods (It’s a C day) for Chorus 2. 8th graders already enrolled in Chorus will be able to audition during Chorus class. However, they have also extended the audition opportunity for Chorus 2 to 8th graders who were enrolled in Musical Theatre at LMS first semester. 8th grade Musical Theatre students interested in auditioning should contact Ms. Calcutt.
